Recherche avancée des événements
The 22nd Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference (TRAC) will be organised for the first time at Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from 29 March to 1 April 2012 and held together with the 10th Roman Archaeology Conference. The Theoretical Roman Archaeology Conference was founded 1991 in Newcastle, UK, and held since then annually, organised by different academic institutes and supported by the Society for the Promotion of Roman Studies. TRAC provides an international platform for vivid discussions between Roman archaeologists of various countries and with different theoretical backgrounds. Frankfurt am Main lies at the heart of continental Europe and is Germany’s financial and transportation centre. Founded by the Romans as Nida, centre of the civitas Taunensium, Frankfurt is moreover located in the peripherals to the nearby obergermanisch-rätische Limes, an UNESCO world heritage monument, and many other prominent Roman sites.
