For its third, major biennial conference in 2012 the Surrey Roman Studies Group has chosen the theme of “The Development of Industry in Southern Roman Britain.” The Conference will focus on six significant industries and discuss their development in the Southern part of the Roman Province. The Conference will be chaired by Professor Mike Fulford.
