True specification of the geographic landscapes is possible through the recognition of nature and studying the culture and roots of the humans’ civilization. In line with this, knowing the spatial specification and formation of the society’s body in the geographical realms is highly dependent on cultural data especially human traditions and religions. In a way that some of the thinkers acknowledge Abrahamic religions, especially Islam in its socio-cultural aspects, as the unifying and identifying unit of geographical spaces, which is fed by the high standards of Islamic culture. Therefore, cultural interpretations in order to evaluate the dynamism of social systems seem crucial. Three Congresses of Islamic World Geographers in the last years is an attempt to gain the abovementioned goals. University of Sistan and Baluchestan is now proudly the host for the fourth one.
